Pregnancy Yoga
Wednesdays 10:45-12:15
Suitable for all stages of pregnancy. Join from 14 weeks up until birth. A specially adapted yoga class which is interwoven with preparation for labour and birth, as well as hypno-breathing and relaxation techniques. These classes are nurturing and supportive to each individual experience of pregnancy and birth. This yoga honours the needs and challenges of your ever changing pregnant body and mind. We end with a chat, a good opportunity to connect with others who are going through similar shared experiences.

Your teacher, Etta
I have been deeply interested in the healing power of movement since I was a child. I started teaching and choreographing dance at the age of 18, and was then drawn to yoga. I have spent the past 15 years studying and teaching different types of yoga and movement in London and India, taking time to deepen my practise.
In 2010 I felt drawn to train in perinatal yoga and birth support. I was struck and inspired by what a sacred and transformational threshold this time in our lives is, and became passionate about empowering women with knowledge that is so invaluable at this time. I teach specially adapted yoga classes which are interwoven with childbirth preparation and hypno-breathing techniques. These classes are nurturing and supportive to each individual experience of pregnancy and birth. I am a mother to two wonderful girls who are a source of joy and learning for me everyday. |
Etta creates a welcoming haven for new mums and young babies in the beautiful surroundings of Robyn’s Yoga Studio. The class is a gentle but uplifting way to get back into yoga and movement postnatally, it also provides a space to unwind as well as an opportunity to connect with other new mums. Etta is clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about both pregnancy & postnatal yoga which shines through in her delivery of the classes.
